Ashe Vanderline is a longtime Ancients lieutenant who runs one of the gang's many smuggling operations out of the Redmond Barrens. A dark skinned elf with greying hair and a fondness for paisley shirts, she's never seen without a lit cigarette between her lips. Her age hasn't tampered her ambition, but although her eye is on bigger things than some small time drug routes her two missing ears serve as a reminder to play it careful. She's been patient, consolidating her power behind the scenes for when she finally makes her move. All she needs now is an opportunity.
Note for the GM
- Ashe is, for gameplay purposes, a mundane face. She throws 12 dice for social things with a +2 from tailored pheremones and a +2 from clothes in person. She throws 11 dice for judge intentions and composure. If she's doing important negotiations or trying to con people, she will take novacoke for an extra +2 to everything.
- Ashe is savvy and professional; her time is valuable and she has little patience for small talk. If she doesn't see a profit in an interaction she will lose interest very quickly.
- Ashe is a gangster, and not too squeamish about using violence to get what she wants. She has a crew of well armed Ancients at her command for if anyone really pisses her off.
|Girl's Gotta Eat||Ashe is out to make a profit, and will charge a 25% commission (rounded down to the nearest whole number) on any gear acquisition checks that she makes. Through negotiation and haggling it's possible to bring it down to 15% (Ancients members get +2 to their rolls). When trying to get gear off table, roll your negotiation pool against hers (12). If you tie or get higher hits, you have succeeded and can bring the commission down. If not, you failed and must pay the full 25% extra.|
|Drug Runner||Drug smuggling is Ashe's bread and butter. If you want some product, no matter how illegal, she can probably get it to you. +2 to gear checks involving drugs or toxins.|
|Armed and Ready||What's a gangster without an absurd number of guns? A short lived one, that's what. +2 to gear checks involving all firearms.|
|Let's See What We've Got in the Back||Oh, you want the illegal illegal stuff. Sure thing omae, but it'll cost you. +2 to gear checks involving forbidden gear, but she will always charge her 25% commission on them. Hazard pay, you understand.|
|Hell on Wheels||I mean she's an Ancient. Of course she can hook you up with a bike. +2 to gear checks involving motorcycles and their modifications.|
|Know the Game Inside and Out||Ashe has been around long enough to know who's who in Seattle. She gains +2 to networking checks involving other members of the Ancients.|
